Giuliani claims King Charles III ‘might be the Muslim Monarch of England’

Former New York Mayor warns the UK could become “Muslim country in 10 years” in a fiery appearance on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” programme.

LONDON - In a fiery appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani declared that King Charles III “might be the Muslim monarch of England” and claimed that Islam is rapidly overtaking the United Kingdom.

The exchange, which aired on Monday and quickly went viral on social media, saw Giuliani cite conversations with people in England who told him the country would be “a Muslim country in 10 years.”

“I have people from England telling me you’re going to be a Muslim country in 10 years,” Giuliani said. “The Anglican Church, the Roman Catholic Church is bigger in England now than the Anglican Church and Charles III might be the Muslim monarch of England. They’ve taken over.”

He went on to argue that Muslim communities in Britain wield “tremendous power,” pointing to the number of Muslim mayors and claiming Sharia law “actually dominates” in parts of the country.

Giuliani also suggested Prime Minister Keir Starmer is politically influenced by Muslim voters and accused Britain of failing at assimilation after mass immigration.

Piers Morgan, who has previously clashed with Giuliani on similar topics, pushed back forcefully during the interview.

“I’m increasingly concerned that a lot of you guys seem to have this idea that we’re literally being overrun by Muslims… And I don’t know where it’s coming from,” Morgan said. “Because I live in London. I don’t get any feeling of being overrun by Muslims.”

Morgan pointed out that Muslims make up only about 5% of the UK population and stressed that Sharia law has no legal standing in Britain. He challenged Giuliani’s portrayal of millions of British Muslims as holding a “radical mindset,” saying the evidence simply does not support that view.

Giuliani doubled down, referencing increased visibility of women wearing veils and ongoing cultural debates in the UK. The two men also sparred over whether Islamic texts promote conflict, with Giuliani describing Sharia and parts of the Quran in stark terms that Morgan rejected.

The clip, shared widely by the Piers Morgan Uncensored accounts on X, Instagram and Facebook, has triggered intense debate online.

Supporters of Giuliani praised him for “speaking the truth” about demographic change in Britain, while critics accused him of spreading Islamophobic conspiracy theories and questioned his grasp of UK demographics and politics.

Giuliani, who has a long history of hardline comments on Islam and terrorism dating back to his time as mayor after 9/11, framed his remarks as concern for Western civilisation and the need for stronger assimilation policies. The interview comes amid heightened global tensions in the Middle East and ongoing debates across Europe about immigration and cultural integration.
