Israeli airline El Al to begin direct flights to Argentina

The direct flights to Argentina will be El Al’s longest route to date.

JERUSALEM - El Al Israel Airlines will begin direct flights to Argentina this year, its longest route to date, Chairman Amikam Ben-Zvi said on Sunday.

The route was announced at a news conference by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Argentine President Javier Milei, in which the countries signed bilateral cooperation agreements that included an aviation deal. Milei said flights should begin in December.
